Kabkab Dates
Kabkab are one of the types of dates in Iran. The color of the fruit is yellow in the “Kharak” stage and light brown and burnt brown in the Rutab stage, and eventually it turns into a dark brown. Unripe and Kharak dates, unlike other dates, have a bitter taste.
Zahedi Dates
Iranian Zahedi Dates are dry with moisture content around 14%. They are usually harvested in the month of October and are in yellow gold color. Zahedi Dates is one the dry varieties of the date in most regions of Iran, however, in some regions it is known as a semi-dried date.
Piarom Dates
The Piarom date is A large, thin skin, black-brown date that is widely considered the most delicious of all semi-dry date varieties. Most Piarom dates are produced in the vicinity of Hajjiabad, Hormozgan in southern Iran.
