Isobutyl acetate is an excellent solvent for cellulose nitrate, polymers, and many
resins.Isobutyl acetate can also be used in polymer paints.It is also suitable for isocyanate and
other lacquers that require solvents that are free from hydroxyl groups.The fact that it is more
volatile than n-butyl acetate may be an advantage.
