Rubber Process Oil (RPO)
Description
Rubber process oils (RPO) can be generally classified into three basic groups depending on the physical arrangement of the carbon atoms namely aromatics, paraffinic, and naphthenic.
AROMATIC OIL
Aromatic Oils are generally dark in color, have higher solvency & superior compatible with most Rubber Polymers. It is extensively used in the manufacturing of Automobile Tyres, Tread Rubber, Conveyor Belts, Automotive Components & Floor Mats etc., where color of the end product is not important.
PARAFINNIC OIL
Paraffinic Oils are highly refined oils, generally light in color having wide viscosity range, higher Aniline & Flash Point. It is extensively used in the manufacturing of butyl tubes, EPDM based rubber products, such as profiles, hose pipe & automotive Components.
TANA supplies a wide range of standard Rubber Process Oils to cater manufacturers of NR, SBR, PBR, Butyl and EPDM based rubber products. Our process oils are products with high solubility,
