Caustic Soda
Description
Caustic soda or sodium hydroxide is an odorless, highly corrosive, non-flammable white solid which can also be used as an esterification and transesterification reagent and cleaning agent. Caustic soda is used in wide range of industries, such as paper, textiles, detergents, metals, food, and electrical generation, and is particularly used for water treatment to prevent air and water contamination.
